Enhance the comfort range and broaden the use of your soft shell garment with Granger’s Spray-On Soft Shell UV Proof. Soft shell garments benefit greatly when the durable water repellent on the fabric is performing at its optimum level. Use the non-aerosol Spray-On Soft Shell UV Proof to restore the DWR to original water-shedding level of performance. Granger’s uses the same fluoropolymer chemistry as was applied to the fabric in the manufacturing process. This assures compatibility between the original and restorative treatments which improves performance and durability. The treatment will last through several subsequent washes. An added benefit to fluoro based treatments is the oil and stain repellency they provide. Spray-On Soft Shell UV Proof includes highly effective UV blockers that protect against fabric degradation from harmful UV rays.

Why include a UV inhibitor in a treatment for soft shell garments?

Soft shell garments are designed to have a broad comfort range and be worn in all but extreme nasty weather. This means that a person is likely to wear their soft shell garment more than they would there (hard shell) weatherproof outer garment. As a result, it is going to be exposed to the harmful UV rays of the sun for longer periods. Granger’s Spray-On Soft Shell UV Proof protects against the UV radiation thereby, maintaining the strength of the fabric and reducing fading.





HOW TO USE
Designed for garments that can be tumble-dried with heat.

Clean - Garment must be clean and free of detergent residue. For best results use Granger’s
G-Wash Cleaner.

Spray - Place damp garment on hanger. Shake bottle. Hold 7 in. (18 cm) from garment and evenly spray exterior with Granger’s Spray-On Soft Shell UV Proof.

Dry - Tumble dry for 50 minutes on a medium (permanent press) heat setting. The treatment is heat activated so tumble drying or ironing is essential for good performance.
