Granger's G-Wax line of products is formulated to deliver the highest level of water and stain repellency. G-Wax Smooth Leather Waterproofing is, as the name implies, for smooth-finished leather footwear. In addition to delivering superior levels of water and stain repellency, it conditions the leather while maintaining the breathability and appearance of the leather. SATRA, independent testing laboratory, concluded that G-Wax Smooth Leather Waterproofing provided extremely high level surface water repellency.

We recommend Granger's G-Tex series of products for footwear that has waterproof / breathable liners of Gore-Tex®, eVent® or Sympatex® where you want to optimize the breathability of the footwear.



How long will the treatment last?
While no treatments are permanent—Granger's G-Wax line of products are formulated to bond securely to the leather or fabric of footwear. The tenacity of this bond allows the treatment to remain effect for a long time. As a rule of thumb, we recommend a monthly application if you use the footwear on a regular basis to insure that your feet will stay dry and the footwear protected from the elements.




HOW TO USE
Clean - For best results clean footwear prior to applying waterproofing treatment using Granger’s G-Wax Footwear Cleaner.

Treat - Treatment may slightly alter appearance of footwear. Test an inconspicuous area first. May be applied to damp leather. Shake bottle. Press applicator against footwear, pausing for liquid to enter sponge. Spread evenly using light strokes.

Dry - Allow footwear to dry completely before use. For maximum performance apply 2 – 3 coats, drying between applications.
